original polish condition of
the blade with a broken
tip and several chips
near the tip. The hamon
is visible all the way
through the tip and the
boshi is intact even with a
broken tip. It has an
extended Chu-kissaki so
reshaping the tip will have
no problem at all.

original name was Kojima
Tamekazu. He started to work
for the Japanese Army at the
Osaka aresanl in Showa 16,
and in Showa 49 (1974), he
was designated as the
Important Intangible
Cultural Property by the
Tokushima Perfectural
Government for his forty
years of swordmaking
involvement. He is rated as
2.5 million yen based
on Tokotaikan
