Overall Condition: Good condition and several small nicks and there is no flaw. There is some sort of stain closer to the tip. I have not seen Kanezane's blade with bo-hi before and it is very healthy blade. This smith is in John Slough's book "Modern Japanese swordsmiths 1868-1945" page 76.

Mountings: 1939 Original Shin-Gunto (Army Mounting) with missing two menukis on the handle. The handle needs to rewrap. Seppas, tsuba and habaki all have matching number "68". 
Overall Condition: Fair condition with someone buffing the blade to remove rust. There are no nicks or chips or flaws on the blade. The temperline is visible through out the blade. This sword needs to be polish.

Mountings:  All original Kai-gunto mount with two Ashi rings with matching number in all seppas, tsuba, and lock stopper. Even the habaki has the matching number with the seppas and tsuba. The scabbard is in its normal wear.
Overall Condition:  Good original polish . There are two small nicks. As you can see, the temperline is very active.  The Temperline and Boshi are visible so it does not need to polish. This smith is in Hawley's book page 470

Overall Condition: Good original polish condition of the blade with a broken tip and several chips near the tip. The hamon is visible all the way through the tip and the boshi is intact even with a broken tip. It has an extended Chu-kissaki so reshaping the tip will have no problem at all.

Additional Info:  Nagatoshi's original name was Kojima Tamekazu. He started to work for the Japanese Army at the Osaka aresanl in Showa 16, and in Showa 49 (1974), he was designated as the Important Intangible Cultural Property by the Tokushima Perfectural Government for his forty years of swordmaking involvement. He is rated as 2.5 million yen based on Tokotaikan
